We have provided over 100 inner city homes for moderate income Calgarians with our first project, McPherson Place.

McPherson Place is the first market-affordable, shared equity project in Calgary delivered through apublic/private partnership. This 160 suite condominium development is located in the revitalized inner city community of Bridgeland.

McPherson Place has proven to be a successful example of mixed-income and mixed-market affordable housing through their partnership with the City of Calgary successfully allowing both ownership and rental in one building to a wide range of income earners. The City owns 58 suites in the building which are rented out through Calgary Housing at varying subsidies and rates.

McPherson Place purchasers represent hard working Calgarians and include artists, nurses, teachers and public sector employees. The building was sold out before completion and there is a lengthy wait list for suites as well as other future projects developed by INHOUSE Society.

McPherson Place was designed to hold long-term value, providing homeowners with the opportunity to build equity over time. Exterior and interior specifications, which are comparable to new developments in the surrounding area, include brick and stucco, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, and contemporary colours.

The McPherson Place development is conveniently located close to public Transit and within walking distance to the LRT station, the downtown core, walking/bike paths and neighbourhood shops and restaurants.

McPherson Place is located just off the major city road of Memorial Drive. Across Memorial is the Bridgeland/Memorial C-Train station and multiple bus stops are found surrounding the building. Along the nearby Bow River, bike paths and walkways extend in both directions. The Calgary Zoo is within viewing distance of the building, and the city’s science centre is also in close proximity. A park and playground adjacent to the Bridgeland/Riverside Community Association and Hall is just up the hill.

Along 1st Avenue in Bridgeland, there are many neighbourhood shops and restaurants and the nearby Edmonton Trail is also host to a variety of retail and restaurant establishments.
